Day 2 in Spain

Today we took a road trip to Ronda, and to a place where there was suppose to be a great view of the area, including the North African Coast. We didn't know what to expect, and off we went! Unfortunately Lisa wasn't feeling well, and decided to stay back at the house.

We had some interesting driving experiences. Sarah was awesome, and did a great job...and it wasn't the easiest drive to say the least. Some of the sharpest hairpin turns going up and down the mountain! I am not a good passenger, and anyone that knows me knows that. All that being what it is, I was totally comfortable with Sarah's driving. And the views! Breathtaking, to say the least. The photos don't do it justice at all, and the photos are beautiful.

When we arrived in Ronda, the sky opened up, and it rained hard for a while. We parked, ran to a cafe, and had some tapas. Some of the food was just ehh, but some was awesome! The asparagus with queso was amazing, as was the pollo with curry. The beef and potato...eh. and the spinach rolls... not a favorite. Anyway, we just kind of started walking, and ended up in an amazing place! Some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen! Ronda is famous for it's ravine. Who knew just how spectacular that would be?

We headed back down the mountain, and hit some fog..wondering what was going to happen the rest of the way. It wasn't too bad, but for me (being the bad passenger that I am) I was very tense...but it was fine. Sarah was awesome, and I was happy to actually not be driving.

We decided to go into town on the way back, to hit a pharmacy and pick up some items for Lisa. Driving here is crazy. It's not intuitive, and God help you if you miss a turn. You lose a half an hour minimum trying to get back!

Tomorrow, we may go to the Gibraltar. We shall see!
